motorhead67
so after much trial and error ive managed to install iPC osx 10.5.6 on my dell latitude d820. Im using the voodoo 9.5 kernel and the voodoo power kext, as well as selecting all available sigmatel audio kexts. everything seems to work except the audio device is not detected and there is no battery meter. Any ideas would be appricated. Thanks, Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153546-ipc-1056-install/ Share on other sites

Try NVKush, it worked with no problems. (Remove NVInject first though). Danstevens
You'll need to install a Kext for your audio to work. I'm not sure what your sound card is but it should be easy to find out. iPC also comes with a battery meter kext you can add. Just pop the disk in, mount the DMG and install the other stuff you need. Severnaya
I also agree with Danstevens Look on the osx86project wiki and get the kext for your sound card.
