990
I have decided to give up on windows and try x 86. So Im not going to have a dual boot. I've downloaded the live cd iso, burned it to a cd, and place the tiger-x86-flat.img on another harddisk(not external/usb/etc). I booted from the ubuntu cd but I cant access my harddisks. neither from the terminal nor from the gui. I get the message that hda/hda1(no matter what value of hd something) isn't a directory. I have two hd's, one which im going to install the x86 and the other is the one with the image. both are formatted with ntfs filesystem.
