eminbe Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 guys i have installed the leopard 10.5.2 using kalyway image on my ibm desktop sucssfully but once i started to install it on my toshiba laptop the installation stop directly after you press -v and will give an 0x00000009 error i have tried tow hard disk but same thing happened in both of them anyone have any idea about this error and how to fix it i will post the exact error in few mins thank you all in advance this is the error " panic(cpu 0 caller 0x001a8c8a) : kernel trap at 0xffffffff, type 14=page fault, register: CR0: 0X8001003b, ???????????????????????, ?????????????????????, ?????????????? ?????????????????, ?????????????????????, ??????????????????, ??????????????????? error code: 0x00000009 debugger called: <panic> backtrace, format - frame : return address ( 4 ptential args on stack ) ? ? ? ? ? ? eminbe Posted February 17, 2009 Author Share Posted February 17, 2009 have a look in HCL for your hardware and use a newer distro like iDeneb or iPC ... thanks man for your replay but im totally new to mac, i'm a expert in windows word and i thought it will be like a small game for me to get involve in mac but i think both are from different planets,, so could you explain more what u just said, and what is iPC? is it an image for leopard?? and what do u mean by HCL? and what is distro? man sorry i know i look like a stupid but i wanna know what is mac oh yeh i found out what is the HCL and i looked in the list, i found toshiba but i didn't find my model,, dose it mean i cant install it at all, i have install it on IBM which is not listed there also but it worked just fine?? what do u suggest ??
