46&2 Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 Does anyone know or have working knowledge of dual video support in OSX86 10.4.6? i have an nVidia Quadro video card with dual DVi out and would like to use split screen. i have the drivers loaded and it does recognize the card as what it is and the displays are mirrored but would like to use my monitors independantly. i know OSX supports this feature, but not sure about the x86 platform. its fairly new to me but i doubt ill go back to Windows now. This is the only feature holding me back. And can someone please explain why there are so many problems with nVidia drivers when Apple sells almost excusivly nVidia cards with their G5 systems? Also Does anyone know why after updating to 10.4.6 my ethernet works fine but i can no longer view files on a network server? ("Alias could no longer be found...")
