pantadeosz321
Hi there! I have succesfully (almost) installed Kalyway 10.5.2 AMD. If it starts - it works ok. But there is a litte problem with starting it. The thing is, that when i remove the installation DVD than system doesnt boot, it shows up something like this Here is my spec: AMD Sempron 2800+ 754 Gigabyte K8NS F17 S754 HDD: Western Digital Cavair WD800JB-00JJC0 Ati Rage 128 (do you think Radeon 9550 would do much better?) Integrated Audio AC97 And here is the problem: ------------------------ BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task Mac OS version: Not yet set Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.9: Sun Mar 2 00:11:08 SCI 2008; mad by ToH:xnu-1228/BUIL ----------------------- If I put it (the dvd) in and boot it, than while loading components the screen goes of and it gets stuck. But, if I put the DVD, press F8 and type "rd=disk0s1" then it works just fine. I've got Ultra-ATA Western Digital HDD, in my BIOS it is detected as IDE Chanel 0 Master, Ida Chanel 0 Slave is none. Any ideas or suggestions? If it was for me i wouldn't care, but i'm preparing Mac for my parents becouse i think it will be easier for them to use it.
