Alright so I installed 10.4.8 and everything worked fine, installation was smooth and easy. All I had to do was tweak my ethear net card driver.

anyway I realized I dont need 10.4.8 I actually need 10.5.5 which I then obtained legally of course and I wiped 10.4.8 out and popped in my 10.5.5 dvd everything ran perfect I customized the installation with my video driver and what not.. at the end I get a HUGE green check mark and it says successfully installed, needs to reboot. Well when it reboots it flashes the apple screen for a second then just reboots and will just keep doing this loop.

HELP ive search and search but have no idea what to do.

This is my second time installing I thought maybe it was just a problem with how I customized the set up but I dont want to keep doing this over and over again, It can't be good for my computer?

thanks a lot

Yeah I tried that and it didn't work so I reinstalled the os again but used different customized options and this time the reboot loop stopped but instead it gets to the apple screen and then a little

Box with a line through it pops over the apple and that's all.

Do I HAVE to customize the installation? If I just leave the video and stuff boxes blank are there defult drivers and stuff that will install?

Thanks
