BananaBeast Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 It's been a while since I gave OSx86 a spin and I thought I'd try it out again, though I'm not sure what distro I should go with. Any suggestions would be appreciated. CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 940 Black Ram: 8GB Motherboard: Biostar TA790GX3A2+ Video: 4870x2 2GB (It is my understanding there is no support for acceleration on this card?) Primary HD: (Booting Windows 7 x64) 64GB Solid State (partition 0 200MB NTFS partition, i dunno the function of this, Windows 7 made it all on its own, partition 1 is the rest of the drive, just windows on it) I have another physical drive in the machine, and a completely blank spare. Ideally I would like to install OSx86 on the blank drive, hopefully avoid any data-loss headaches.
