Hey everyone, hopefully you can help me out.

So I installed iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 on my HP Pavilion dv2550se today and I keep on having the same problem whenever it finishes installing. I erase the entire hard drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) because I don't need to dual-boot or anything and have it as Master Boot Record. Then I select my packages: X11, Yukon driver, powermanagement, and Intel X3100. Then it installs fine and I reboot and take the CD out. I wait for it to count down and it goes through the white Apple logo screen and when it's about to load the Leopard intro movie, it goes black and doesn't do anything. It just keeps on loading (the wierd thing is that they're two mouse pointers, one is stuck to the top left hand corner of the screen and the other one is moveable but it keeps on loading). In the end, nothing comes up and I have to shut it off. I can boot into the OS in safe mode, but I want it to work normally. Can you guys help? Thanks in advance

hey guys,

yeah my hardwareconfigs are:

Intel Core2Duo E8400

Asus P5E Vm HDMI

4 GB Ram

HD 3870

320 GB Sata

An hour ago i finished installing Mac OSX again and it works!!!!!

not in safe mode only but in normal mode!!!!

i have an dual boot with windows vista the only thing i changed in bios is the sata support: i changed it from IDE to AHCI. Thats all and it works very well. the only thing i have to mention is to switch it back to IDE when i want to boot vista, otherwise an bluescreen occures.

Best wishes

How do you change it from IDE to AHCI on a HP laptop? They gave me no options to do anything, the BIOS is pretty much empty.

My specs are:

- Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 1.5GHz processor

- 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM

- 250GB Serial ATA Drive

- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100

- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG

- Marvell Yukon 88E8039

- Intel Mobile 965GM chipset

My friend also has a HP dv2000, he didn't change anything in his BIOS and iDeneb installed fine on his. He only installed X11, Intel chipset, powermanagement, Yukon, and X3100. I guess I'll again later today

mine works 2!!

i flashed my nvidia quadro fx 2500m

and installed Natit 0.02 and patched to the voodoo 9.5.0 kernel from xnu
