Lukianos Posted February 8, 2009 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Hey everyone, I just joined the forum, and I'm hoping to get some help loading the Mac OS onto my laptop. I downloaded the iATKOS v5i iso, burned it at a low speed, and then rebooted my laptop with the DVD in the drive. The install menu came up, and I setup the the disk using the disk utility. The install goes fine and then all of a sudden I get "Install Failed. Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer. The installer could not validate the contents of the '10.5.5.Intel' package. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." Has anyone received this message before, or know why this error is coming up? For information, the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A200-AH7.
