pj1115 Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Hey all, Installed iAtkos 5i 10.5.5 successfully on my HP Compaq nx6310. Voodoo kernel (it works with Vanilla, however) with EFI v9. I have included links for anyone experiencing the same issues. After much trial and tribulation, I have the following working: - GMA950 GFX (QE/CI) (with pkg included on iAtkos 5i disk) - Bluetooth (native) - Trackpad (+ scrolling with attached fix) - Cardbus (with fix, required for audio to work). - Audio - SoundMax AD1981HD through speakers (requires cardbus and fix). No line in. Have not yet tested line out. - Wifi (not internal, with Broadcom-based wifi PC card, native) - Battery indicator (with VoodooBattery - I also use VoodooPower. Thanks to Superhai!). - USB, Firewire, DVD drive, etc. Not working: - Dual core! It must be disabled in BIOS or booting must have cpus=1 option or you'll get a kernel panic. Looking for working DSDT override but as yet have not found one. - Sleep! Clamshell display fix disables internal display when the lid is closed, but no sleep/hibernate. - Audio line-in. - EFI v9 says "Sleep image has garbage; Hibernate failed", on every boot. - Internal Intel 3945ABG Wireless. Can detect networks with iwidarwin but there is no real functionality. hydraulik Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 I have the same nx6310 , and the same problem ! Trying to instal Iatkos with core duo on, it is impossible. I instaled with 1 core and now it's working, but when i try to swich the core duo on , gives me kernel panic. Please HEEEELPP !!!!
