For some reason, the "Windows file sharing" checkmark is just not there! Please see pics. One picture shows how it's supposed to look like, and the other one is my screenshot. SticMAC™ Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 let me venture a guess....... The one is 10.4 and the other 10.5? 10.5 does not have the Windows Share tick anymore!! You need to go to the "Sharing" / "File Sharing" / "OPTIONS" button on the bottom right, then select "Shares files and folders using SMB" and add or select users, this will allow users from WinBlows to share drives taht you have set up in the previous "Shared Foders".
