Akutsito Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 Hey everyone, its been a while since i've been around here, finally on a new PC... Now, i just got a Dell XPS M1530, so far everything is really fine, everything is working almost flawlessly (or at least as flawlessly as things are now ), but something is bothering me a lot... I used Kalyway 10.5.2 installation, after a fresh install, sleep, shutdown and restart works perfect, after installing everything (except gfx) those features still do, but the momment i install GFX, they stop working..., i get a Black Screen when doing any of those, and no response after that (gotta hold the power button to completly shutdown the machine)... I've tried using lastest NVINJECT, using EFI STRINGS, different versions of either, and i still cant get both things working..., im not sure what im missing here, maybe im missing some kind of Kernel Update.. . Im using Mach Kernel (from 10.5.2 Kalyways DVD). Hope someone can throw me any clue at least, i've been looking and looking, and i really havent found much... (people saying they solved their issue by doing something, but it isnt working here for example). Greetings to everyone.
