marietto2008
Hello, I'm trying to use the Apple wireless keyboard MB167T/A on my PC,but I haven't been able to do till now. I've installed the Broadcom software/drivers and I've edited these registry entries : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Widcomm\BtConfig\General key 'PinCodeWord' to a decimal value of 1111 key 'UseFixedPin' to a decimal value of 1 as suggested here : http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7035744 But when I try to connect the Apple Wireless Keyboard I see this message : Click yes if you want to connect to the Human Interface Device Pairing with the Apple Wireless Keyboard .... Error during the paring with the Apple Wireless Keyboard. What I can do to make it works ? Thanks. Matt Williams
These are steps 5 and 6 in the link you posted. 5. Then attempt pairing. When you get to the greyed PIN screen type 1111 using OTHER keyboard THAN Apple Bluetooth keyboard. 6. Press the Return key on the Apple keyboard. I found to pair mine, you have to do this as soon as the screen comes up asking for the pin. The pin box will probably be greyed out but do it fast and it should work. It worked for me.
