Alright.

So I attempt to run some older installers, and I get this error message:

Instead of using the installers, I attempted to copy all the necessary files from the CD (which happened to be Age of Empires II). Whether I run the app from a legitimate CD or from a cracked download, I get the same error above.

I've been able to use more up to date installers, like for my audio interface, adaptec toast, etc., but these other ones just don't seem to work.

Specs:

Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel/AMD

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz

4GB Corsair XMS2 6400 800Mhz

ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Mobo

Nvidia 8800GS 384mb

Is it because they were designed for Mac OS classic? My friends are having no issues installing on their 10.4 and 10.5 systems (these are, however, legit Macs).

If you have any suggestions, that'd be really great. If it's any help, my SATA DVD-RW drive still won't read in OSX, had to install OSX w/ and still currently using an IDE DVD-R. OSX is also installed on an IDE HD.

Any help and/or suggestions greatly appreciated...
