Nimesh Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Guys i am a newbie and i am sorry to ask this question again. I already have xp and ubuntu 8.10 installed and i wanted to try out leopard without damaging my already present OS. I had searched all over the internet and i can see a lot of pages containing how to dual boot vista and mac. But i am not able to figure out how to dual boot xp and mac. Something is going wrong. I have downloaded iATKOS 5i and i have made a 10GB fat32 partition for mac installation. I booted the dvd and i created a journalised partition for mac using disk utility. I customised the installation and the installation was succesful. But after restart grub is reporting error 17. so i booted using ubuntu live cd and i tried to recover grub by enter grub in command line and giving the commands root and setup. after the restart i am now able to enter windows partition but i cannot access ubuntu or i cant see mac os. where did i go wrong guys.. help me please. and once again sorry for asking such a question but i am really confused.... regards..
