macprodan Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 are you saying you dont have anymore artifacts after the update. i still do. did you use the new kexts for ATi or are they still in the extensions disabled 10.4.6 folder. anyone else out there, lost the artifacts.. Greta Van Macintosh Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 Its possible his install defaulted to Vesa 2.0, where he would have no artifacts until he tried to enable CI and QE, but if its true that he has working ATi drivers without artifacts...that's awesome. macprodan Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 must be using the old lexts still without Quartz as i just had a Go with the 10.4.6 ATi kexts and got a Black Screen. back on the old ones now.
