Ok, so here's the deal. I've done piles of patching and driver installs and I've finally been able to get my video to not be so choppy, and move much faster. Flash works!

 

Here's my problem though. In the system profiler, the device ID is saying that it's a Radeon 9800 pro which it is, but under the Type it's still showing as a VGA-Compatible Controller and I can't choose a 1280x1024x32 resolution. The only one that's supported is 1024x768x32. I can manually do it at boot with the "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" line, but isn't there any way to get this to work without that? I've even added the lines in the boot plist to boot into a 1280x1024x32 resolution. I still think my 9800pro isn't being recognized.

 

Any ideas?
