fabrizio85
Hy guys, (i'll tell you from now, sorry for my bad english...but help is help even if it isn't well-comprensible) Yesterday i managed to install MacOSX86 on my laptop(the model is in the subtitle) and i just want to help the owners of this notebook, and get help for a little problem i can't resolve. To install MacOSX86 on this notebook model, use the iDeneb install disk, everything goes in the right direction(thanks to the team!!), only remember to select the following in the "customize" button when it comes in the pre-install script: -in kernel select the first kernel in the list; -in wireless..well i'll explain this later... -in chipset select the ICHx one -in the video section select NVidia-NVinject for 128Mb -in apps...just select the apps you want(i've selected all) finished the install just boot in the OS, don't care about the audio, it will work later, first think about the wireless(the ethernet works just fine). There's no way at the moment to get rid of the Intel PRO Wireless 3946abg we've on the notebook(another team is working on it...for now it's instable and not connect to the internet), at home i've an old USB adapter called ENCORE WU...and something, by the way after some googling i've find out that for USB stick isn't important the specific driver but the "chip" of the adapter...so just go out and buy a USB stick...i've paid about 10euro for it! Find out the chip manufacturer and go to his site and download the driver(don't be so lazy, the "work"it's fine but the result it's good) and install on your OSX. For the audio feature's, just search the kexts for ALC268 with or without touchness and install them(better first connect to the internet and then search for the audio kexts directly from mac, no?). Ok, now you have a copy of osx86 on your pc, troble with dual-boot with xp or linux? simpy re-install grub on your mbr and set it for your pc, this depend by the case and by the configuration of your pc, if you want PM me or write in the post, if i can i help you resolve the problem! NOW here is my help question: does anybody find out how to get rid of the integrated HP-Webcam?
