Eyvind
Okay... I have a big problem now... I installed Iaktos V5i on my system onto my usb hardrive: P5W DH Deluxe Intel E6700 (oc'd to 3.0GHZ) USB hardrive with partitions (cant remember the name.. maxtor maybe) USB keyboard/mouse 8800GT I made a HFS partition on my usb hardrive and installed leopard onto it. I used the vanilla kernel, and only the kexts and patches i needed. At the same time I have Vista Ultimate on my main hard drive (internal). So whenever i want to boot leopard, i can boot to the USB. Everything worked perfectly, and i had all the kexts. Then I installed the realtek driver for the realtek internal wifi (RTL8187L). This install worked perfectly, except for a few times i had the problem of no wireless networks showing up in the realtek manager. Today, i was connected to my network, and everything was working. I then put the computer "to" sleep. This had worked before without any problems. When i opened it again, i couldn't see any wireless networks in my realtek manager. Big deal i thought, the same thing had happened many times before. So i rebooted to leopard again. Once again still no networks. Now i was beginning to have doubts. So i booted into Vista. No networks there either. I have rebooted very many times, and reinstalled the windows driver to no avail. i have disabled, changed channel.. everything. Nothing seems to work. i am really if i don't get my wireless to work. My desktop is far away from the router so it is veyr hard to get a cable there. The big problem is that this is my shool computer and i need internet very fast.... Any help would be greatly appreciated... sorry for the bad english, usually i type well but i am in a hurry with a bad keyboard mods: if i put this in the wrong place, please move... EDIT: Fixed the problem... If anyone else has this then try to shut down, pull out the power, wait a few minutes, put the power back in to the comp and start again. It should work then...
