edgarinc
A few days ago I had the chance to upgrade my Intel iMac's (17 in) firmware. While I was upgrading my finger slipped and I let go of the power button. My iMac's firmware is corrupted. I tried the firmware restoration cd and it did not work. I reset NVRAM, PRAM, and SMC. When I turn on the computer, I hear the startup chime and see the white LED light. I am also able to eject cds and I hear the pop noise when I hit the volume keys on the keyboard. I brought the maching into service and they have told me they have made no progress. I hope I can fix this problem.
