ALC861 driver installed but no sound!

Hi guys, I installed iPC with AC97 audio as my sound driver during the initial setup phase.

 

Then I realized that my sound card is actually ICH7 80201G and when i check it says Realtek High Def Audio with a Device ID of 861 so I assume this is a ALC861 card.

 

So I downloaded and installed the Azalia drivers. It installed perfectly, but when I restarted, the Audio panel shows my sound card is detected but the Output Audio is greyed out at max volume and I cannot change it. There is also no sound from speakers and the headphone jack.

 

I tried installed the ALC861 audio driver but same problem.

 

Is it because initially I chose the wrong driver? Anybody care to help? Been searching up and down the forums for a solution. Thanks!
