h4music Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Dear all, I have been using Kalyway 10.5.2 on my PC for a while now, and decided to try out the iPC 10.5.6 install, which after a few tweaks and using the EFI Studio to figure out my nVidia Geforce 7600 GS card, has been working fine, except The IC7H controller shows up as "unknown sata controller" Leopard does not see the Firewire ports on the motherboard (they worked fine with the Kalyway install) Onboard audio does not work The SATA DVD-RW drive that I primarily use, stops working after an hour or so, if I have a multiple DVD install for eg. it would stop working after the 4th or 5th DVD, as in I can't eject the drive, or open it in Finder, etc. I also have UAD-1 PCI DSP audio card that used to work fine with Kalyway, but it doesn't work anymore with this install. Any help appreciated... OS: IPC 10.5.6 with Darwin 9.6 Asus P5W DH Deluxe m/b Core 2 duo E6600 2.4 GHz oc'ed to 3.0 Ghz 4 GB Corsair DDR2 RAM 320 GB Macintosh HD, 500 GB data, 1 TB data, all SATA drives XFX 7600GS CI/QE all working great Jmicron SATA controller not working, Audio not working, onboard wi-fi working fine with the Realtek 8187L driver..
