MattB.
I'm having great difficulty upgrading my 10.5.4 Leo4All install to 10.5.5. I've tried several methods the latest being this. Everything on the update seems to go fine but I'm stuck on a continuous reboot cycle. Here's where the load gets stuck for a while before the reboot happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated. MattB.
Never mind... I guess the 1,000,000 time is a charm. I tried again(following that same guide), and it worked this time. Don't know what I did differently but it works. Now onto the 5 minute boot problem. clumsygenghis
Never mind... I guess the 1,000,000 time is a charm. I tried again(following that same guide), and it worked this time. Don't know what I did differently but it works. Now onto the 5 minute boot problem. I'm thinking I'm on a similar path, have had successive reinstalls after unsuccessful update attempts using the method you linked. Get sent into the reboot loop - any suggestions on what it might have been that millionth time that made it work for you? I'm really hoping to get to 10.5.5, have a leo4allv4.1 (10.5.4) successful install on one of my drives.. letting the Kalyway 10.5.1 install sit this experiment out - all in the name of a video card upgrade (MSI Nvidia n9400gt 1gb) Any further clues would be greatly appreciated.. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149181-need-help-upgrading-leo4all-41-to-1055/#findComment-1147880 Share on other sites
