This one dude on here, (I forget his name) had a boot-cd that he put the modbin kernel on and had pre-core systems booting, and my dad wanted to use my old P4 system to make a cheap media center type thing, so I thought I would try to install retail leopard on it. After a few tries I got it going by adding a patched AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext for ICH5. Installed perfectly. Then I put on the generic pc rtl 8139 ethernet for leopard that another guy made back in 2007 to fix slow download speeds and other issues, as well as using universal installer from ######. I did the essentials, put on pc efi 9.2 or whatever, and made a plugin for the board that had the modbin kernel the intel ata kext, and dsmos. I also got it updated to 10.5.5 and it runs still. Haven't gotten into sound or video yet (using unsupported built in gma 830 or whatever it is). I wanted to try the voodoo kernel 1.0, but it panics on boot everytime, so it looks like I'm stuck with the modbin. I've been searching google and the xnu voodoo google code page for hours trying to figure it out. If I can get the voodoo, and it will sleep, then I'll try the sound and video, and if I get that going I'll make a plugin for the P4i65g board and submit it. I don't know how many people would want it, but hell, why not.
