ZiGOMATiK
Hello all I use iDeneb v1.3 and the only weak point that it stays and the impossibility to change resolution (that this always remains blocked on 1024*768). It seems to me that it is a problem of QE/CI, but I am a beginner and I would not say about it more! Indeed, my System Profiler says to me that my Quartz Extreme is not supported! I try to repair that for weeks but I always stay on this resolution it is for it that I come to ask you of the help(assistant)! I already have to test several syringes as NVinstaller (who makes me freeze my boot and I am obliged to delete .kext with the -s command), or NVDarwin, NVKush and NVinject (who changes nothing my problem)... I know no more what to make so I come here! I let you a Copy/paste of my system to profile : (My graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS) Graphics by NVIDIA: Chipset Model: Graphics by NVIDIA Type: Display Bus: PCIe Slot: PCI Slot 0 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0422 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: NVinject 0.2.0 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Display Connector: Thank you very much for your help ! tomchook
Is it possible to use NVinstaller v.52 for 8400M GS? How can I know if this, NVDarwin or NVKush will work out for me? Do I MUST use external display, or can I view it normally on my laptop screen? PhiloSOF
@ZiGOMATiK Try using OSx 86 Tools , go to "Download and Install Hardware drivers" and when the new window opens select "Remove Injectors" and than try reinstalling NVinstaller @Rteixeira Switch your monitor to DVI output , that should fix it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147792-8400gs-and-no-qeci/#findComment-1048167 Share on other sites
