I think I'm starting to get a pretty solid understanding of some of this and just want to make sure my build will be compatible. Also, since this is my first build if you have any recommendations for improvements or helpful tips I would be very appreciative. The build details look fine- I just built 2 machines very similar. However- the machines I built had more RAM than yours, and were in the $800 range, shipped. So your $1,217 figure doesn't make sense to me: are you paying nearly $500 for your case, PSU +shipping? Or there's a lot more to your entire order than just the Hackintosh? If so, for a first time builder, I'd seriously suggest a more reasonably priced case +PSU. whoamarcos Posted January 10, 2009 Author Share Posted January 10, 2009 Yea sorry there were a couple things I left off the list, nothing really important keyboard and speakers..etc. I can't remember what exactly was on the list right now and unfortunately I cleared my cookies and the list was wiped. @THEHAWKs For a case I was looking at the Antec 900 but the case you provided looks really nice. But I'm glad I figured it out enough to make sure it was all compatible. Thanks for the help everyone!
