Kedizzle
Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read this and possibly help me. For the record I have tried to figure out my problem through using Google and these and other various osx86 forums. My system specs are as follow: AMD x64 6000+ Asus m2n-e sli 4gb ram Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS GFX 320gb SATA HDD I have windows Vista installed on my first partition and MAC OS X on the other which I installed using Leo4all 10.5.2. Basically I've tried every known nforce lan driver/kext under the sun and found only one that worked the "Forcedeth_Fix_PHYError" one as the others all gave me the error saying that they could not find a valid phy. What happens, is every time I try to download something thats over a few mb or a torrent I get this kernel panic. Strangely enough though, when I go through the mac software update pane and download the latest software updates, I don't get any kernel panics. I hope I have enclosed enough information for someone to help me. Cheers. Guest cavallo
well that's the thing, I've only found 1 kext that workds with my network and that's the latest version. The best is disabling in bios onboard lan, deleting any forcedeth kext and buy an external usb2/lan.
