gizmo71
Hello all, I installed iPC OSX 10.5.6 recently on my IDE HDD. It boots all fine, installs without errors. The only thing that isn't working is my mouse and keyboard(I think all my usb ports.) In previous installations of the same osx version i had the same trouble only that my mouse and keyboard (+usb ports?) stopped with working after a while and random. Now it doesn't work at all and I hang at the intro. Maybe you guys know how to fix it. I use iPC OSX 10.5.6 beta Voodoo 8.5.0 I think something with .5 after first number. Asus p5n-e SLi nForce 650i chipset. Intel Core 2 quad Q6600 G0 stepping. XFX 8600 GT Drivers used: Nvdarwin 512mb Nforceata new usb 2.0 driver. nForce4 marvell chip driver. patches used:(they are on the DVD) USBMountpatch (not massstorage mount patch) seatbeltfix for mounting dmg I hope I informed you enough and if you want to know more, ask me. ,Gizmo71~ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/145315-some-problems/ Share on other sites

Thanks for you reply, I will look straight away. Edit: I downloaded that nForce 1.2 tool. Is it recommed to install osx again with no drivers and without kernel, and use that tool after the installation to do all the drivers + kernel? Generally, I recommend initially get a working OS X install without LAN, audio and video drivers to check that the basic system is OK.......then you can run nForce Drivers Installer......the correct audio driver can be installed afterwards......
