Hi, i'm a newbie for this. i want to know if my notebook's hardware support the osx86, the leopard. i want to install it on my notebook, i use compaq presario cq40-143tu, the specification is: T5800, 250gb hdd, 2gb memory, dvdrw, intel gma 4500 mhd, IDT HD audio codec.

can i install leopard on it? are all of my hardware have the driver for the leopard? which release should i get?

It will install. You won't get accelerated graphics. You might get HDA sound. You didn't list your wireless, so who knows on that. Try XxX 10.5.5. 10.5.6 causes some trouble for some hardware, so start with a little safer version. You can always upgrade later if you get adventurous.

 

Recommendation: Use Google and search your components. It's really not that hard.
