opodeu Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Hello, I have installed the Retail DVD with 10.5.6 Combo update. All devices work perfectly. But sometimes, in a random way, OSX crashed without any reason... I see maybe three reasons : - My graphic card (MSI N9800GTX+ 512 Mb) is reconized like 8800GTS 512 Mb with EFI String method installation (but It work perfectly) - console Log I have "CFHostGetUUIDString error 35" a lot of time (I have seen posts where they solve the problem..) - Ram PCI8500 1066Mhz is reconized like 800Mhz Do you think I have to solve them ? opodeu Posted January 6, 2009 Author Share Posted January 6, 2009 I have solved CFHostGetUUIDString error console log but I still have OSX crash... I think I should check RAM. Does someone know how to force OSX reconize 1066Mhz FSB? I am wondering if Parallels4.0 is the origin of random crash ? I will verify if crash happen when Parallels is open... It seems work perfectly, I have succed to open several applications without any kernel panic. Wait and see. If this afternoon, nothing happen like Kernel panic. GREAT OSX !!!!
