OK, so here's the deal. I have a Fujitsu T4210 Tablet PC with Leopard 10.5.5 running on it. I have sound, wireless (not internal), ethernet, etc. all working fine. Every program, even games works perfectly on it (given the specifications and stuff), but I cannot get Parallels Desktop working on it.

Installation was fine, but once it tries to boot from the disk, it hangs. So I thought it was a problem with the disk drive. I then made an ISO of my install disk, and tried to boot from that, but still it doesn't load. Nothing crashes, just nothing happens.

I read that virtualization only works on certain processors, so I searched it up. I found a wikipedia article that listed all known processor types and whether they worked or not. Mine wasn't even on the list. So I guess the question is: Is the processor on my Fujitsu T4210 Tablet PC compatible with virtualization?

Have you Core Imge and Quartz Extreme supported? If are not supported, Parallels (and many other softwares) don't works.

wizkidweb,

I'm not familiar with that notebook, but if the specs are the same as I've found in this review, then the problem isn't the processor. Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac requires an Intel-based processor, and it looks like this sports a Core Duo. You may want to check the Parallels official support page:

http://www.parallels.com/support/desktop/

You're a Desktop 4.0 for Mac user so phone support will be free, as will e-mail, forum and knowledgebase support. I hope that helps.

I've the seem problems. But i'm sure the problem is; Parallels 4 now for intel core2Duo virtualization support only. at least Intel E8400 processor. look at www.intel.com.

I mean this : "..Includes full support for Intel Virtualization Technology (VT).." and the bad news is my E7200 not VT support.
