stuppy
Great. Another member has said the 9800GTX might not run properly? I have a 7900GS here that should work if the 9800GTX doesn't. Then I can swap them when the drivers for 9800gtx become available. Had a quick scan on the forum and I have seen some sucess stories with the 9800. Will have to see Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144714-build-check-please/#findComment-1027540 Share on other sites

stuppy
Hi Nick, Great. Is there a particular method to getting it to work? I am hoping to go with a Vanilla Retail Install so will be installing the hardware kexts manually Before booting for the first time. Do you have links to the files I'll need? Many thanks ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144714-build-check-please/#findComment-1027957 Share on other sites

Jossen
Sorry to disturb but, at the moment I have a Macbook Pro -but- I will receive a working notebook from my boss, so I want to sell my Macbook Pro. Since in the future I want to be fully able to play the most recent games (like Call of Duty World at War for instance) and just to download stuff but I do not want to part with Mac's OSX. So what am I looking for here? I want to build my own Mac(fully compatible!), still be able to game a little PC-wise and want to be able to watch some movies late at night. What parts or specifics do you guys suggest? With great gratitude, Jossen -I am no wizzkid- so give it to me simple Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144714-build-check-please/#findComment-1028983 Share on other sites
