maw Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 hi, first thanks for the support here. i tried to install iPC 10.5.6 on my system and after reboot i get the following error: before i istalled the dvd i patched it first (PPF1 / PPF1) my system: - ALiveNF6G-VSTA - AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ - 2 GB DDR2 800MHZ - SATA DVD - SATA Hitachi 80GB - SATA Western Digital 250GB (first partition for the macosx) - ATI Radeon HD 3850 - 512MB osx setup: - Voodoo Kernel 9.5.0 - ATI Radeon HD 3850 - NforceATAtest - AC97 Audio - Forcedeth nforce4 - Patched USB drivers - IOUSB MassStorage fix - Apple SMBIOS Rev3 800mhz - all Applications hope somebody have a solution cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144324-ipc-1056-usb-problem/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

zdoe Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 got the same prob - bob ajob's cure didn't fix it. i got kalyway 10.5.2 updated to 10.5.3 with kalyway's comboUpd, then up to 10.5.6 /w apple's comboUpd before the last comboUpd i had working audio, but taking the appleUSBaudio.kext from that install didn't fix it either. i'm on an hp dv2700t laptop /w nvidia video - haven't played around with getting the motherboard audio working as my sonic USB audio seemed to be fine up to recently.
