softwareking Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 First off, Hello. I am new to the community. I have a dell dimension 2300 intel based and I am trying to install osx on it. I am using iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3_Public_Beta dvd. First when I boot, installation seems fine, but I can't really read through it as I can't the black screen. Also, installation quits with an error which I can't really read because of the black screeen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks SWK. softwareking Posted January 3, 2009 Author Share Posted January 3, 2009 Ok, I got the OSX fully installed on this computer. The only problem is it is all black. The Graphics does not work. Does anyone know how I can correct this? Thanks. When I installed it on this PC, I needed to downgrade the BIOS back one version. After that video worked fine! I never tried with Leo though. My install was Tiger at the time.... I am going to attempt to upgrade it to Leo tonight however, I will let you know what my findings are.
