iDeneb 1.3 and Dell Inspiron 9300: any luck?

Hi,

 

I am trying to install the iDeneb v1.3 disk onto my Inspiron 9300 laptop. Its specs are:

 

CPU: Intel Pentium M 1.6GHz (SSE2)

Video card: ATI Mobility Radeon x300 64MB

Motherboard: Intel i915, ICH6-M southbridge

Wireless: Intel Pro/Wireless 2915

NIC: Broadcom 440x

Sound card: SigmaTel C-Major

 

It seems to install correctly, but when it reboots, it gets to a screen of irregular black and white stripes. I assume the issue is the display driver, since the x300 is an older card, but does anyone know what driver to use, and if it's on iDeneb already? If not, does anyone know how to patch it? I've searched a bunch and still haven't found an answer.

 

Any suggestions would really be appreciated -- please let me know if I can provide further information.
