ElbowGeek
Hi all. I'm not a noob to computers, but I have only just started experimenting with hackintoshing. I have successfully installed iAtkos 5i on a Toshiba Tecra laptop and it's running great. So far the only major issues seem to be no wifi support and some occasional video artifacts in MS Office 2008. I'd like to run the updates, but know that one can't do this without some fiddling. What I'm looking for is a guide to running the updates so that my system is still bootable thereafter. If anyone can give a good guide to this I'd very much appreciate it. . Many thanks! ethereal123
Hey, Which tecra model are you using? I tried to install iDeneb 1.5 (most recent one) on Tecra M5, successfully installed but after restart it hangs a grey apple logo..no more further going. I tried different kernels and graphic settings but no luck. However, iAtkOS v7 doesnt work at all for me (havent tried 5i). thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/143595-running-software-update-in-iatkos-5i/#findComment-1212763 Share on other sites
