I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop (Core 2 Duo T7250 2Ghz), 2GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS 256MB graphics, Intel Pro wireless 3945 ABG, TSST Corp DVD +-RW TS-L632H Dvd burner, Sigmatel High Definition Audio, conexant HDA D 330 MDC v.92 Modem, Broadcom 440X 10/100 LAN.

I attempted the third install of OS X. I first attempted with iAtkos 5i. Install went smooth, rebooted and it said I didn't have a keyboard connected. Well, its a laptop and it ain't recognizing the keyboard.

I attempted again, this time using iAtkos 2.0i thinking that 5i may not be compatible as of yet. Installed and it kept saying I had to reboot. So no good.

I attempted a 3rd time with the 5i again. Install went rather smooth; but same problem. The pad doesn't work. I plugged in a USB mouse and it worked. BUt it still gives me the no keyboard is connected message. I don't have a USB keyboard; I'll have to go get one to see if it continues the OS X setup. This is on the setup of OS X , NOT THE INSTALL. Installation says it was successful! What gives? I've been reading for over a month now on different forums, installation guides etc.etc. Speak SLOW and explain what you mean as I'm not up tp date with all the abbreviations.

Oh, almost forgot. This install is on a 80GB Toshiba laptop hard drive that I made into an external USB drive using a Rocketfish enclosure. I wanted the simplicity of keeping XP on my main hard drive and when I want to use OS X I can just plug in the external HD and reboot into OS X. Anyone explain why its not recognizing the laptop keyboard??? Thnk---Bboy623
