VuN86
i have been trying to install leopard for the past 3 days using iDeneb 1.3 and i can not seem to get it to work. the components that i am using are as follows: Board: Intel DP43TF Processor: Intel Q9550 quad core 2.83 GHZ Ram: 2X2GB 667MHZ Samsung chipset i believe Video: MSI n9600GT T2D512 (i know this might cause me problems) HDD: 500GB Seagate SATA Disk Drive: IDE DVD/CD burner by Optiarc??? i have been able to install windows XP pro on it and partition (with GParted and Partition Magic (i tried both)) it to install Leopard on the second partition. after siwtching my SATA to AHCI so that the system will see my HDD and installing leopard the system boots the os from the HDD it just seems to freeze up on the boot (i.e. the circular thing with | all around stops going around) although this board was listed on the wiki page as being compatible i did a little research myself on the board and it seems as tho it has an ICH10 chipset? another issue seems to be once i install leopard it seems to have also ereased my xp installation... yes i am certain i did not accidentally format my xp partition. if anyone could please shed some little on these issues that would be most appreciated. i want to get this system up and running. maziozare
Hi, mabe this help you. When iDeneb boots show a darwin boot to press enter o press F8 key and some option. Have you tried press the F8 key and type -v to see what shows you. UPDATE: Another thing, you say: "although this board was listed on the wiki page as being compatible", at the end have a note that say: "Installed from Sata DVD" Have you tried with a sata DVD?
