Wuahaha Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Just got my new laptop last week and the spec are shown in my sig. I think 6400 is the same as E1505. I've successfully installed from 10.4.4/10.4.5 DVD Patched MYZ iso. I've tried both 10.4.4/10.4.5, but still no sound. I've check the System profile, no build-in audio, no wireless, unstable ethernet. I've tried reading a sorts of guides, but I dun really understand and know how to edit or patch things. Any suggestions? Hope someone can post me a newbie-guide on how to edit, how to patch and wat to do to make them work. Please can anyone help me thanks a bunch !! Wuahaha Posted April 7, 2006 Author Share Posted April 7, 2006 I've tried using this guide: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...acer+travelmate Removing AppleHDA.kext and used AppleAzaliaAudio.kext, I get the "HDA Audio" shown at the output and able to slide volume bar but just hear no sound at all. Inside the AppleAzaliaController.kext the id is use as the as as the AppleHDAController.kext "0x27d88086". Therefore the problem may lies on the driver is not compatible with my onboard sound. synapse Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Does any one know if it is possible to just use maxxuss anti tpm patch on the 10.4.4 restore image inorder to use the 8.5.1 kernal properly with intel core duo chips? if so, does any one think that it may be worth trying to create a install dvd just for core duo users to see if this will clear up the stuttering graphics and any sleep/ACPI problems?
