RollingMac
I was using 10.5.5 and everything was fine, then I tried to update when 10.5.6 was out. I used PCWiz's DSDT patcher and patch my hard drive then installed. I then got 10.5.6 kernel panic. I tried to research online, google, on the forum, but seems like it was because I was using EFI V8 instead of EFI V9 Chameleon. I then used another Mac and connect that hard drive to it, update to EFI V9 Chameleon, and repatch DSDT, and run the update again. But still have the same problem. Is there any ways I can get my Hackintosh back to work? I can back up all my files, but I really don't want to re-intall the whole system since I have done lots of setting to it and it will take me days to install all the applications back. Please tell me if there is any good suggestions. Thanks in advance. BTW, my hardware list is: GA-EP35-DS3L 8GB RAM Intel C2D E5300 nVidia 8800 I will wait and keep researching for another 3 days, if still no luck for me, then I will re-install the whole system.
