Some are close and would seem that Kalyway would install fine. I haven't had much luck. I installed the JaSOsX86 10.5.4 image and got all the way through a few sucessful installs with different customizations but every time I reboot and remove the CD it just flashes through the boot and goes to the Gray Apple Screen and reboots again instantly. -v, -x, -s nothing seems to really slow this down to catch what the error is. I tried -v -x and got it to run each prompt but they flew by to fast to read also. Any help would be great. Thanks. I'm new to this and I haven't don'e anything with Kext, yet. Hopefully I'll try editing that this week, looks like I'll have too. absolutenot
THere's an alternate bios you have to install to get around that issue -- Once there, there's still the nightmare of getting video, sound and wifi going -- i've not had any luck with any of those so far with this laptop, but look for the alternate bios and you should at least be able to boot in.... 10.5.6 vanilla -- retail install with pcefi v9 don't remember the exact procedure -- haven't worked on it in a while. hope that helps.
