HFTobeason
Can anyone point me toward a way to utilize my VPC XP Pro disks (or at least my product key) to install XP under Boot Camp? The MS site has a download of XP Pro SP2, but it appears to be a set of 6 floppy disk images. Any ideas/solutions much appreciated. Thanks. Olaf Wagner
The MS site has a download of XP Pro SP2, but it appears to be a set of 6 floppy disk images. Ha ha, that's funny. Somehow I doubt that the 6 floppy images indeed contain the +-600Mb of XP installs. Unfortunately I don't know about extracting the source from the VPC discs - haven't taken a look at them. z3rr0
Can anyone point me toward a way to utilize my VPC XP Pro disks (or at least my product key) to install XP under Boot Camp? Here's what I tried, but my drive had issues. Mount the disk from within VPC. The PC can't be running. Open disk utility, and use the "Restore" feature. Select the VPC disk as the source, and the new PC formatted partition as the destination. I'd think this will work.
