ameris_cyning
Run XBench and post results in this thread. Hint: You can find xBench by doing a Google search. ameris_cyning
Can you download XBench from a different computer? Without XBench, attempting to find your issue would be very, very hard. ameris_cyning
Your processor is at 120? That is too damn low for a quad core. (Mine, a C2D @ 2.53 is at 187) Open up activity monitor (It is found in /Applications/Utilities) What does your CPU percentage usage say? After a Google search, I found out that your wireless USB uses a Prism54 chipset. The only solutions that I have been able to find are located in this thread (Scroll down to Prism): http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=34071 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140872-mac-osx-leopard-running-very-slowly/#findComment-998811 Share on other sites

ameris_cyning
That could be it. Did you boot with CPUS=1, or did you install the CPUS=1 fix from your installation CD?
