Guest
why is nobody help me Your videocard in Kalyway 10.5.2 is not natively supported. To obtain QE/CI active: 1) boot Leopard with -v -x flags; 2) move from /System/Library/Extensions GeForce.kext, NVDAN50Hal.kext and NVDaresman.kest onto the Desktop; 3) Add your device id (mine is 0x042110de) in the info plist of the 3 kexts (after the string IOPCIMatch, before or after the others); 4) save and reinstall the kexts with kexthelper; 5) install with kext helper Nvinject 0.2.1 512 MBLatest_NVinject.0.2.1_512Mb.zip 6) reboot with -v -f flags; You should have QE/CI activated. With your videocard when you change resolution appears a blue screen: power off manually the PC within 15 secs and reboot: here is the selected resolution. Good Luck Giorgio. Guest
The vendor id is a hex numer that indetify the model and vendor of every peripheral (audio device, lan controllers etc). The device id is compsed of 0x device id vendor id IE if the device id is 0x0421 and the vendor id 0x10de the global id is 0x042110de You can se the id's in: About this mac/Other information/Graphics-Monitor (System profiler) For edit info.plist you can click with right button choose show package content, click twice with the left mouse button on Contents and click twice with left button on info.plist and modify. These are basic knowledges to work with kexts in Leopard: I think that before to try this method you read a lot on the Forum.
