RyRy
Sounds to be like a dodgy install mate. Might need to reinstall it unless withs with the dvd which case you might need to get a different one. My Jas 10.4.8 seems to work fine. Though I'm having trouble upgrading it atm Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140078-my-jas-1048-doesnt-boot/#findComment-994343 Share on other sites

zaherb
JaS 10.4.8 updated to 10.4.11 HP pavilion dv4282ea.. 2GB, 80GB IDE, Intel graphics, wifi 2200BG, in the first installation, it was perfect.. i have formatted, and re-installed, but then i got this prob. XP SP3 runs OK.. I dont believe it`s a hardware issue.. If i get into mac, everything is alright, but then i will not turn the laptop off Maybe a startup issue ?? How can i check and or repair ? RyRy
I have used a Pavillion before but it was a tower version. Not a laptop. Have you checked if all the hardware is able to run on your laptop? check the wiki found out how. I'm now using Kalyway 10.5.2 now its more stable in some respects. RyRy
It sounds like the drivers are having trouble functioning properly when you updated it. Maybe worth redownloading drivers and using a program called Easy Kext installer. And install them then pray to god that it works Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140078-my-jas-1048-doesnt-boot/#findComment-996586 Share on other sites

RyRy
I don't know anything about Intel GMA. Best bet is to PM some users who know what they are doing from here. I have noticed though that they was a problem with some of the OSx86 projects that intel GMA's have had several problems.
