Ryu-ka Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 I'm trying to install iATKOS 5.0i (OS 10.5.5) on my Dell Vostro 1400 laptop, but the installer won't start. I tried the -v command, and the text starts scrolling, but then it says "Mac OS Version: Not set" and then it freezes. I also tried pressing enter, but when it goes to the Apple screen, it says I need to restart my computer. This also happened with my iATKOS 4.1i disks. I burnt them using the Burn application when I was running 10.5.2 on the same computer. I burnt them at x4 speed, backed up all my files, and booted into the install DVD. Could someone please help?
