iDeneb 1.3 Installation Issues

Hi everyone.

I've been around linux for a few years, and decided to try this version of OSX on my PC. I've got no problems during the instalation but after reboot my screen just shuts off and nothing happens. Dont know exactly what are the fixes and kernel i choose before starting the instalation because i just cant remember. I tried to instaling it 2 times but the same thing happens.

 

Just for your knowledge my setup is this

Asus Maximus Formula

Intel Q9450

2GB DDR800 Kingston

8800GTX

Creative X-fi (PCIe)

 

I would appreciate some help.

Do you get to the scree where you can boot with options?

if so try

?video

 

this will give you a list of what modes your vidoe card can handle

 

then try

-F -v "Graphics Mode"="640x480x32"

 

this worked for me just to get it up and running and then I could change the screen resolution.

-v will also tell you where it goes wrong and crashes.

 

I also had to remove my graphics card from the machine and plug the monitor into the on board VGA card, as the install did not recognise my 3D card
