ghemml Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I'm using dual Xeon with HT, with 10.4.5 myzar patch installed. In 10.4.1 I could use hyperthreading enabled, but now in 10.4.5, it keep rebooting. I have to disable HT, so it will bootup normally in 10.4.5. But I really like to get HT to work in 10.4.5. Any idea how to get it work? Also the ACPI on my bios is also acting strange in OS X, when I press the main button the system will not shutdown. Instead it go to sleep mode, whereas in 10.4.1 it shutdown my system properly. Question: Is it possible to copy 10.4.1 ACPI kext over and run under 10.4.5?
