Numbnuts
I've got an Asus P5Q Pro with the ICH10 southbridge and created a RAID0 array with my only two hard drives. I booted from the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD I burned a few months ago, but it sees my array as two separate disks. Is there anyway to get the installer to recognize the array and use it to install onto? Numbnuts
yeah I read about that, I just didn't want to break up my Vista array just for OS X. I'll buy a new drive if that's the case. I've read a lot about people not being able to boot at all on the P5Q Pro, but I seem to be just fine. Then those with other boards with ICHx had to have the SATA controller set to AHCI, but again, I seem to be fine (for booting) and mine is set to RAID. What is keeping ICHx RAID from working? Numbnuts
Since I have 8GB of ram, can you explain why the SIL3132 controller is only good with less than 3.5GB? Also, are you meaning the 2300 specifically or any 23xx series card? Highpoint - any that´s working a PCIe slot. yacocccc
Hi Peach-os, Is Highpoint rocketraid 2300 no need any driver attach step? Just need set raid on card's bios. And there will see the raid disk on installation diskutil? If it is, then I will go to buy one... Also, is all 23xx serial support?
