10.4.4 worked fine, so I'll try that kext first. Thanks. I'll also continue to look for alternative solutions. So far, I've tried SwitchRes (didn't work) and DisplayConfigX (system is no longer bootable). Also, I don't have myzar's image, so I'll dl that in the meantime (I've been waiting for something like that to come along anyway).

Also, it looks like my Display is not being detected in the System Profiler, so I guess that's probably why I'm not getting the other resolutions.

EDIT #1:

using myzar iso i have no problem changing resolution on your same board.... others in your case... they use the kext for the 950 gma from 10.4.3...

Did you say GMA950? Maybe you have a different board. I have the Asrock 775 Dual 915GL, which has GMA900 graphics, not 950.

EDIT #2:

Alright, the 10.4.4 kexts worked like a charm. The file sizes of the kexts are very close to one another. I wonder if the only change made to them was to make them less compatibile with vanilla hardware?

i've have the same mb Asrock 775 Dual 915GL, while on 10.4.3 using the dtk image & the jas patch everything worked ok. Installed the 10.4.5 from universal intel amd DVD from scratch and audio .kext's does not load correctly. how did u manage to get sound under 10.4.5?
